The fact the club did nothing towards historical allegations in 1997 reads badly now, I wonder if that’s a change in attitudes from back then or is it unfair to suggest the club should have responded?

Also - the "deport anyone who knew" suggestion - wonder if he would apply that to anyone who heard allegations within say the Church of England or Catholic church and turned a blind eye? Or is it only brown people that he reserves his attacks for?

He is an insufferable gobsh1te with terrible views. But it’s interesting how he’s another elite playing the man of the people card and it’s caused such a fracture in Reform.

I think the chances of him being consistent are slim to nil.
