Furniture village sale 08:54 - Apr 5 with 762 views | Lord_Lucan | Seen a nice dining table in the Easter sale, it looks pretty good quality... ....However, does anyone who visits these type of stores know if it's a genuine sale or is everything always on sale (like Carpetright was)

Similar to the websites that claim there are 'Last few available' or 'Not long left at this price' of what you are looking at. Then you look again a few months later and it is still the same.

Furniture village sale on 10:18 - Apr 5 with 523 views | flettonblue | Went to one in Peterborough last week and (without asking about price) the assistant immediately said everything with a white price tag on it had an extra 10-20% off . Smelt of desperation to sell anything, I bought stuff on my credit card incase they go under before it arrives. They do give free coffee and warm cookies if you show a small amount of interest [Post edited 5 Apr 10:22]

If you really must know it's because I want time to flog my old one first and give the room a bit of attention.

You raise a valid point so I just did a credit search on them, I am advised that I can give them up to £4.3m credit. They took £348m last year and made 9.8m profit.
