Onana seems to have reached the peak Muric phase of his career 14:12 - Apr 11 with 892 viewsIllinoisblue

50million they paid for him. And picked up Mount and Hojlund in the same window. Must be some of the worst business in the history of the game.

Balanced it out by firing the tea lady though.

Truly impaired.

Matic played an absolute media blinder in the run up to the matches - got pretty much all the Lyon Ultras on to Onana's back even before kickoff.

I would suggest that the atmosphere at Utd is not exactly conducive to a struggling player finding their form - just note Marcus Rashford recent performances at Villa.

I do not believe players become poor overnight and that Onana, Mount and Hojlund are all much better players than performances at Utd suggest.

Mount’s been unlucky with injuries but I’m convinced Hojlund won a competitor to be a footballer. Genuinely looks way off the standard.

I’m not sure Matic played that much of a blinder. Onana basically dug his own grave with his comments pre match and Matic just answered a question the media posed to him.

Onana would have had the fans on his back regardless due to the comments that no professional player ever makes before a match even when, as an example, a prem team plays a league 2 team.

And the match proved exactly why.

I think there’s a law that states that Man U have to spend at least £50M on a signing no matter how good they are.

The Busby Babes and Sir Alex Ferguson’s class of 92 are very distant memories. Which is obviously a shame for them but also a bit of a shame for English football. Whatever you think of them, they’re an iconic English team and to see them being run by feckwits is a bit sad (imo).

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
