Ipswich Fans - I need your help! 20:14 - Apr 13 with 1533 viewsBM1773TT

Good evening Ipswich Fans!

As a quick introduction, my name is Ben and I am in my final year at University.

As part of my final year university project, I am exploring whether or not financial regulations in football (IE: PSR, FFP) influence fans behaviour as consumers, and the impact of this on clubs revenue.

If you have a spare 5-10 mins, It would be greatly appreciated if you can complete the below survey which will really help my research.

https://forms.gle/LfZvnaS2NfbifbaNA

Given Ipswich's promotion last season, it would be greatly appreciated if you can also answer the questions 3, which are included to assess if EFL clubs are impacted by the rules differently.

The survey includes topics such as ticket prices, competitiveness of the game and the impact of financial sustainability for consumers.

All responses are anonymous and would be really appreciated by myself.

Thank you in advance for your participation!"

Good luck with your research. As I work at a university, I always try and support these sorts of requests.
However, I do think you should state which university you're at. I also believe there should be a statement on how the data is to be used. I think you should check in case your results aren't considered valid without that information included.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Done! Best wishes for your research.

A couple of comments:

The "competitive" season I answered for this season but clearly the answer would be different last season and next season as we change divisions.

The likelihood of attending actually decreased with the increased success of the team due to the lack of availability of tickets. I therefore opted for the no difference answer.

Another reason why fewer matches sell out in the Championship than the Premier League is that there are several stadia in the Championship that are larger than many in the Premier League and more midweek matches. I wonder how the total number of fans attending across the season in each league compares (especially as there are more matches in the Championship).
