Was much more of a talking point and considered more of a disaster, I feel.

I think we should be pretty happy that didn't happen today and the team deserve a fair amount of credit for that. Chelsea had so many chances it's incredible they didn't score three.

It's not anything new that we concede goals and generally aren't quite good enough for the league currently, so I don't really like the idea of another game being lumped into the annoying 'X number of points lost from winning positions' stat. It makes it sound like a mental issue which it clearly isn't, we just can't withstand the quality that so many teams possess.

We took chances in the first half and gave ourselves the opportunity to get something from the game. That's kind of how we have to look at it.

Chelsea were always likely to grab a goal or two, especially in the 2nd half where we start to flag and the reinforcements are not at the same quality of our opponents.

If games were 70-80 mins long, we'd be comfortably mid table.

Have to disagree, at 2-0 up there has to be a mindset change of keep it tight. To concede so quickly was poor and as you say the only amazing thing was we didn't do what Palace did the day before.

I don't think a mindset change to keep it tight is of any use, quite frankly. We started the game with a 'keep it tight' mindset and we were conceding chances left right and centre. We weren't exactly being attacking, we scored out of nothing really - twice.

In fact at 2-0 I was saying we should go for the throat because 2-0 was always unlikely to be enough.

We did this 'keep it tight' nonsense when we were 1-0 up on Wolves...that didn't go too well did it. It's a fallacy.
