But for me there’s no point playing Delap anymore. We know he’s off, he’s value is what it is, get Hirst some mins in those legs and PL experience.
He’s our main man now, and should be the soul focus |
I know there is no room for sentiment in football but with the season Delap is having and how much he has put in to putting this team on his back at times. It wouldn't sit right with me to have him sitting on the bench. Unfair on the player.
That being said would certainly be happy to see Hirst have substantially more minutes. |  |

Surely i cant be the only Town fan who thinks we are a better attacking team with Hirst instead of Delap as the lone Striker?
GH hold up and interplay with the attacking 3 is better IMO, whilst Delap has more potential to create something out of nothing on his own and run with it. I genuinely think if it wasnt for injuries, Hirst would have played his way into starting more games over LD. |  | | |

I think Hirst should have started more games with LD as the impact sub. Knows the system/role better than LD [Post edited 15 Apr 15:57]
