City still sold an 27k tickets and Forest sold 36k. Wembley is the only stadium which could accommodate those numbers plus the hospitality packages which is expected now at semis.
Some people think it’s wrong to have semi-finals at Wembley and should be at Villa Park or somewhere. But if Ipswich managed to get to a semi, then st Wembley the allocation would be approximately £36k. At other stadiums it would be much less. A lot of people would miss out on a ticket.
And if the previous round was away at Macclesfield then a lot more would have missed out, so so what? It’s a semi final, not a final
