FA Cup Final 11:40 - May 10 with 452 viewsZx1988

Generally speaking, how hard would it be for a neutral to get hold of a pair of tickets to an FA Cup Final?

It's one of my dad's bucket list ambitions to be at Wembley for a cup final, in particular for the singing of Abide With Me. He's not getting any younger, so it feels as if it's time to turn my sights from the hope of getting there with ITFC, and just hope to get hold of a pair of tickets to just any final.

Is there a chance, or is it likely to be a bit of a fruitless endeavour?

I suppose that's, quite literally, the $64k question!

I suppose it's always possible to get tickets via the stupidly expensive corporate route, but I was thinking more along the lines of the 'standard' options. Whether it'd be possible to get a ticket in the sub-£500 range, or possibly sub-£250.

Does it have to be an FA cup final?

Playoff finals often have tickets floating about and the lower the league you go, the more entertaining they tend to be. I’ve been to a few and it’s always a great atmosphere and so much tension - much better than the PL hype the cup final will bring.

There’s no general public sale at all and I don’t think any realistic and legitimate way of getting hold of tickets other than through the clubs playing, personal connections or hospitality.

The cheapest (low level) hospitality option that I’m aware of, via a source I know to be legitimate and have used before, is £508 per person. That gets you access to to a bar and not much else.

Just access to a bar ? You don't get to watch the game...

Send me your card details front and back. I’ll have you the tickets by the end of the day

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

There’s always this option:
