Strange how your memory isn’t always reliable:I had in my head that Mickys equaliser was on a par with Ricky Villa’s FA Cup Winner for Spurs. On reflection, I think I over egged that a little.

28 years ago today on 18:54 - May 10 with 240 views | IPS_wich | I travelled down from Lancaster with a mate I was doing a postgrad with who was a Blades fan. I made the mistake of wearing my town top as we walked back to my car and was briefly set upon by 3-4 Sheffield fans. Thankfully my mate was wearing a Sheff U top and managed to persuade them to leave me be. Had a few bruises on the shins from being kicked but thankfully no punches were thrown. Was not a fun experience. My mates said a few seconds later … ‘for f*** sake will you zip up your hoodie!!
