McKenna likes a certain type of player too, young, come though a top academy, Delap, Omari, Philogene etc.... technically good, already understand the British game.
Thats not to say every player comes from that category but its clearly McKennas preferred port of call |  |

A lot of teams have the advantage that a player can spend a season being a bit sh1t whilst adapting which we didn't. That's not to say they all need it of course but a lot do. |  |

Or have other teams within their ‘organisation’ which allows them to send players to them first, prior to bringing them to their club (see Brighton and Man City). |  |
