People shouldn't get ahead of themselves. We have a rebuild to go through and MA and KM will have their work cut out to get the right players in. Nobody wants to see another season like this one has been. It is soul destroying whether you go to a game at PR or keep up via other forms of media.
But to just say I can't wait for August is a sign that you think we will do well. I hope you are right but being a bookies favourite means zilch.
The old saying "You don't see many bookies on a bicycle" rings true. Meaning they win more than they lose.
Yes, we have the parachute payments and may see a couple of player go putting 60 plus million in the kitty but that didn't do Luton a lot of good and whilst we aren't Luton and in the main have a decent bunch of players we had to go on one hell of a run last season to get promotion and it was momentum carried over from Division One. Next season we won't have that momentum and whilst I don't want to sound as if I am downbeat about our chances it will still mean a lot of effort, the right recruitment, luck injury wise and for some of those bad refereeing decision to go our way. |  | | |
