Given our seemingly strong relationship with Chelsea I've been wondering if there's anyone we might look to take on loan from them? They'll no doubt see us as the ideal destination under McKenna, with Omari being a proven case. You would think the Delap deal would've only strengthened that bond.
Guiu has been mentioned previously, but his apparent reluctance to drop to the Championship might be the blocker there. I noticed he came on in their game yesterday.
Alfie Gilchrist a pretty obvious one, was at Sheff United last season and might be one we look at?
Otherwise I'm out of ideas, they either appear to be players they'll presumably want at a higher level (Veiga, Chukwumeka, Broja, Ugochukwu) or players who aren't demonstrably better than we have already.
Tyrique George is a rare case of a young player who has made his way in to the senior squad without a loan move. Not sure he's the profile we would be looking for but looks a talent for sure and a loan move wouldn't surprise me.
Estevao Willian (not one I'm suggesting for us) is one to watch. Very easy to dub young players 'the next X' but there have been some obvious references of the young Brazilian. No pressure then. Just your casual £30m for a then 17, now 18 year old. Bonkers. |  | | |  |

I’m not sure that the clubs relationship with Chelsea is particularly stronger when compared to other clubs. But, I do think that the established PL clubs trust Ipswich and KM to look after their younger players. And I don’t think that this can be overstated whilst we’re outside of the PL. |  | | |
