Makes me understand why she didn't want to be at the Euros as a reserve keeper.
The kind of player who performs at her best when she has the full backing of the manager, but struggles without that vote of confidence.
Lots of players are like that. But, ultimately, Wiegman can't use her at her best if Earps doesn't believe she is number one. Reminds me a bit of Paul Gascoigne. He totally needed to believe that the manager 100% believed in him.

Disagree on this one, Gascoigne never let England down, antics aside. His current form and fitness at that point was okay. That WC side lacked midfield creativity, In the WC and warm up games they managed to score 8 goals in 7 matches. Hoddle wimped out. |  | | |
