No, last year we got our arse kicked. It wasn't planned. And we have to learn from that experience

I'm hearing more and more how next season is just a dress rehearsal for when we go back to the Premiership..... like it's a formality. I'd focus on getting back there first. It's going to be a
tough season. If it's a rebuild... expect a bit of time and some setbacks before it clicks.

Yeah, but get these players in and when it does click it will be even better than we've had before (IMHO)

This is a big opportunity for KM to show his management ability. We know he;s a good coach, but is he able to dismantle a team and build an improved version? We'll see, but I think the signs are positive.

Flip side of this argument is it probably the first window since the takeover where we don't need to sign many players. It really is CM only which needs a rebuild. The rest of the team looks really good. Obviously 1-2 strikers as well. I think 1 would likely do it to be honest with all the other attacking options we have, even if Al Hamadi goes.

We have one player for the key double pivot roles, that McKenna hangs his entire formation on.

And he’s never kicked a ball with us. One player. With our squad siize and cost, that isn’t a green flag.

If we all agree Taylor doesn’t really suit that role. I like him as a player but he doesn’t look comfortable as a 6.

So we need at least one striker and maybe two with more departures, and two midfielders.

We have 15 inside forwards and number 10’s. We have the most unbalanced squad in many years.., currently.
See where we are in September, but we certainly need more balance.
