Looks like a good bit of business although I haven’t watched him in Germany looks like the sort of player who could make a real difference to their season.

Although I did think the same about Phillips and thought he was a good signing for us. I thought McKenna could get the best out of him but he just couldn’t stay fit for long enough to find any sort of form. Wonder what happens to him now, the only Premiership team I could see being interested would be Leeds and surely that would be for sentimental reasons.

Also wonder with Morsy leaving does anyone think giving Mass another year would have been a good idea, if he’d have been interested of course. We look so light in the midfield area at present. I do worry if we rely on Taylor being a starter in the centre of the park. Of course I know there could be other players coming in but not long until the season starts and if we don’t strengthen until the end of the window we could be a few points behind the leaders.

Dropping 20million on 32 year old as a promoted team is great if they can stay in the prem but if they get relegated it’s going to be a big investment hanging over them.
