Broady / Omari 10:19 - Jul 30 with 869 viewsBlueNomad

Is Broady’s probable departure a sign that Omari is not going to be sold? I find it difficult to imagine the club would want to lose both in the same window.

I can’t see us releasing all these players if we are not confident in replacing them accordingly.

I think there's certainly more chance of Omari staying now. Would leave a lot of work to do by way of additions to lose both, and his inclusion yesterday implies nothing is imminent. We'll get about 50% of the Profit / PSR benefit from the Broadhead sale as we would've done losing Omari, so maybe the club thinks it can plot a different path on the financial side that means we keep hold of Hutchinson.

As per my post last night, Brentford is dead in the water. Omari and KMac had a heart-to-heart earlier in the week. My birdie at the training ground said Ashley Young had also taken Omari under his wing this week and is almost mentoring him.

Unless another PL club stumps up £40m, he's starting at St Andrews in 9 days' time.

Love Broady to bits but if you’d offered me the choice of Broady going and Omari staying I’d have taken it all day long. Let’s just hope if he does go then Omari will stay

No, the reality is that if an offer of £40m or higher comes in for Hutch, I still think we'd accept. Broady is in his last year here contract wise and therefore an offer of £5m plus would be decent business (as much as I like him).

If we did lose both I'd be having a right sulk.

I'm sulky enough about losing Broadhead. Underrated.
