I have just noticed on the website that when purchasing a match pass you do not now get a full replay. Have to be a monthly subscriber to watch a replay.
This is absolute crap. Living in Australia, so many of the games are in the middle of the night and although I usually get up and watch there are occasional times when I have something on that night or the next day that I just can't. I was previously able to watch it at a later time. That will not be possible now.
Would have thought they Club would want my tenner still but obviously not. Another change to the detriment of us long term overseas fans. |  | | |  |

Anyone have tips on watching Town TV replays spoiler free?
In Aussie... BeIn (and last year Optus) have options to not spoil results/scores. However, navigating TownTV, right next to the replay stream is usually another video with a caption such as "Kieran on Auxerre win"  |
Haha, it really is rubbish the town TV have not been able to sort this out for us. I had a bit of fun with this the season before last and from memory this is what I did ...
1. Log into Town TV on a computer, cover the screen but for the right hand edge with a tea towel, and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
2. Now move the tea towel leaving a little of the screen showing at the bottom and scroll up until you see the replay. Any spoilers will be above the replay as the page loads in order with the latest headlines at the top.
3. Still using the tea towel covering most of the screen ( as you can't be sure the score isn't shown) find the play button which should be at the bottom of the screen exposed and hit play.
Remove the tea towel and Voila!
Can also be done with a tablet. Not sure if it would work with a phone.
I'm pretty sure that was what worked for me. High Tech eh ...... Hilarious! | | | |

Yes, this is a major pain. My approach was typically to give my other half to put it on, but even then her face would sometimes give it away if she felt I was going to waste our evening watching us lose...
My theory was that you should be able to filter the content to Full Match Replays, bookmark that URL and get there directly, which is a safe page.
But alas, it doesn't seem to work for technical reasons beyond me.

Pleased to find this thread anyway, really didn't understand what was happening previously, but felt that £5.99/month seemed too cheap for all matches live (bar the TV picks).

But...monthly is cheaper. I haven't figured it out exactly but i reckon you're better off doing one payment of 5.99 for the month than two or three of 10.
I'm probably going to skip beinsport and just watch all our games the next day on towntv. Yes, i'll miss live but no-one cares enough about ipswich to tell me the score anyway. |
i joined and took international membership with postage of a few trinkets was approx 43 pounds but the clincher is that it gives season long tv town so if a match is available i only pay 10 pounds | |
