Who do you think would have been top of our list of CM signings?
Jens only 3 years older and a fair bit cheaper, also with prem experience Vs Hackney who is possibly a bit more mobile, higher ceiling, ticks boxes in terms of potential player trading

Out of the two, Jens is the much better deal with the added bonus that he comes straight in and knows how to operate in a really important position for us. The Hackney bid was at the very top of what you’d want to pay for him, and it’d take a while for him to get up to speed with how McKenna wants him to play.

That's been my hunch, his agent was clearly trying to drum up interest with no takers. I think prem clubs consider him a little lightweight but he's young and will get stronger. I think he'd fit in perfectly here and could dovetail with Cajuste perfectly. |  | | |
