But given the players we have, we are simply not effective enough. Players who've been with us for a season are still not fully functioning and to their proven potential in the current system - Greaves, Szmodics, Clarke for example. Taylor is not an incisive enough midfielder and Matusiwa - well, let's say the jury's out on that one. Philogene still has a lot to prove. Substitutions often are too late in the game. I feel Mckenna needs a massive re-think and a fresh approach to sort all this out. | | | |

The one pleasing thing about today is that he's given an honest reaction post-match, he's right to be angry because it isn't good enough and the balance of the team is not right. But it's down to him to get the best out of these players. | | | |

Just how could we have had 4-5? We didn’t have a shot on target till the 93 min! Again we were powder puff up front the Preston defenders had them all in their pockets all game long! [Post edited 23 Aug 19:28]
