Is that a lot of the signings we have made, do not appear to fit the system very well. So we have bought good players but ones that have excelled in other formations.
Szmodics, philogene and clarke all seem to be examples of this.

McKenna seems obsessed with ‘coaching’ more versatility in to players.
He seems to like the challenge and is clearly getting in his own way.., the problem though is who at the club worked it out, and told him? .., not Ashton and that’s the real issue.
Clarke and Greaves are team of the year players at this level, Leif set a record at this level. Best ever.
The gaffer. I’ll try and spend all last season teaching Clarke a totally new role.., and refuse to change course, this season, inverting Leif who can’t stand on his right foot.

Szmodics definitely tries but excels in a counter attacking formation, granted he had one chance like that last weekend but in general that is not our style | |
