It was announced that he had gone into palliative care last week after being diagnosed with cancer so not unexpected but still very sad and, like you say, no age at all.

Was just reading up. All happened very quickly by the sounds of it. Must admit I weirdly keep and eye out for how they are getting on with all the ex town links there. I hope they have a fantastic season in his memory.
