Amused me that the preview of this thread cut the post off at 'Utter class. Especially the way he's continued to play for Palace, rat'. Given how prevelant the term 'rat' has been in this transfer window to describe several players (as in traitor), gave what I was expecting to read a whole different meaning!

I’m not doing this after this post - but in my opinion, if you feel SO STRONGLY against being asked to wear an armband (that signifies that everyone is free to love whoever they want, and that we should accept all sexualities) that you have to scrawl a message about religion (which is very obvious as to what that means in the context), then you are absolutely not accepting of the cause and you are homophobic. You can dress it up all you want, but that’s how it seems to me. If others don’t agree, then perhaps you need to reflect more inwardly, or perhaps you should speak to those who have personally experienced discrimination, or listen to those who make the points. |

however i've also been on pride marches and chatted with christians with banners apologising for the actions of churches and reiterating the same phrase.
without more context i wouldn't feel comfortable to judge him as homophobic | |
