I think the idea is that it keeps both sides open for a pass, so the opposition can’t double up on anyone. In theory we can then work an overload.
It’s painful to watch. It’s obvious what they’ve been told to do but none of them look comfortable with it. I’d knock it on the head, but KM will want to persevere with them. Maybe it’ll click with time.
