Just impulse-purchased myself two tickets 16:17 - Sep 18 with 1443 viewsbaxterbasics

To Penn and Teller tomorrow night at the London Palladium.

Yes they are still alive, believe it or not.

Really excited, used to love them back when they were on TV a lot.

Unfortunately the only seats still available were top priced ones, second row and central. Prime 'get picked on' position. I always get picked on.

Wasn't cheap, my credit card will not be thanking me.

....in Vegas.

Always worth seeing, probably the best there is at what they do.

They weren't "picking on" anyone in the audience when I saw them, but maybe that was just because it was their Vegas residency.

Not sure if they are doing the same show.....so I won't say anything else!

I'd love to see those blokes - their Channel 4 show back in day was excellent. Bit envious.

I went to see Jerry Sadowitz in Leicester Square a few years ago, who, in addition to being vile, is also an astonishingly good sleight of hand magician.

Anyway, was fair to say that I was very nervous that we would be in 'pick on me' seats; thankfully we were safely hidden in the side, halfway back.

The poor bugg3rs at the front got all of the dogs abuse for about 60 minutes straight, and were also covered in Sadowitz's spit. Pretty intense for them, pretty funny for everyone else.

Enjoy tomorrow night.

We saw it last Sunday and it was excellent. Not really sure how to classify them as yes magicians but more of all round entertainers. They’d been on my bucket list for some time.

And yes you are in prime position as they pulled loads from the audience, but mostly those who volunteered. Enjoy

Yeah I don't have much interest in going to a straight up magic show. But these two always make me laugh. Penn is a smart fellow too. Teller may well be but you never get to hear him speak

I saw David Copperfield in Vegas. We were front row and we were approached by staff if we wouldn't mind starting a standing ovation when he let sand out of his hand. We did mind. He was rubbish. Saw all the trap doors in action.

….are notoriously bad, bit of a standing joke in Vegas.

Mac King is probably the best out there, although he’s been doing the same show for the last 25 years!
