If he can stay fit (and it’s a big IF), Wes will be like a new signing for us. Last night, our right was very poor with all our attacks coming down the left. Egeli did very little and Philogene was ineffective when he moved over to the right so Wes could make us a much more balanced team with crosses coming in from both sides.
Having said that, on current form, Hirst and Szmods wouldn’t put the chances away anyway so Azon needs to be given a few starts. Don’t think McKenna will drop Hirst but it needs to be done.

The sad thing is that Burgess, Morsy, Burns & Chappers would improve our team immeasurably and we’ve let 3 of them leave for nothing whilst spending vast sums on replacements who are worse (granted that Egeli has a high ceiling).
