| Sunderland on 13:16 - Oct 19 by skinnybob72 | The 3 promoted sides have won 8 games between them already, us, Soton & Leicester won 12 between us all season. I wonder if we perhaps used the 'gap is too big' as a comfort blanket to disguise the fact we were simply not very good? The three of us have only won 9 out of 29 in the Championship this season which further points towards being not very good. In fact, we are 2 stoppage time penalties and an abandonment from having lost 5 of our first 10. |
Yes two injury time pens and a fluky match abandonment aside and we would be closer to the relegation zone ! It must be said that the start to this season has been woeful and has only really been masked by thumping a Sheffield U side that sacked their manager the next day and a Norwich side who are the worst side they have had for 20 years or so. This it takes new players time to adapt is something I bought into a little bit but am now confident it’s just an excuse for out short comings

Whilst that might be the case with some posters, you've not exactly given a decent reply to explain your thoughts on where we failed. Just gone for the "you're being nasty about Ipswich, stop it"
