I hope he proves a lot wrong on here tomorrow night. He is exactly what we needed in our midfield a lot of this season. Would love to see him in a 3 man midfield on Saturday too.
Tomorrow him and Nunez...
but Saturday id mix it right up. I'd have either Nunes or Cajuste just in front of the defence pinging the ball and both Taylor and Matisuwa with a free licence to run around and win the ball and put much more energy in the middle of the pitch. I think that would blow other teams out of the water. But on the same token I think Johnson is due a lot of minutes. Just not at right back.

I think he will fight for the team and use every bit of energy he has in him. I still think we are a bit lightweight in the middle of the park. Cajuste and Nunez are lovely footballers, but they are not the kind of players you need in a battle. Lots of teams are turning our matches into a battle and our quality is not beating opponents effort. JT has lots of effort and so does Azor next to him. Nunez or Cajuste will pick the balls up from the centre halfs and pick their passes. Got to be better than how we have played so far this season.
I still stand by this. We had both show ponies out tonight and to be fair to them they were ace in the first half, but once it was turned into a battle we are not up for it. Hence jack Taylor must find a place in the middle with Azor and one of the show ponies.
