A match that summed up the Royle era, atrocious start conceding two dreadful goals. Got one back and were then excellent right until the stupid penalty at the end. And then went and did that.
I realised midway through the next day that my shin had a large bruise on it from a wooden seat.

I group my memories by pre and post move to the USA which adds another layer to the feeling of “oh s5it I’m old and there’s no way that game was that long ago.”
