To be fair may have been offside, difficult to see from my position. The frustrating thing was how long it took for the linesman to give it. The ball must have been in the net for all of 10 seconds before he put his flag up, seemingly at the Charlton players requests. |  |

From where I was in S6 I immediately thought it was offside, but the linesman had absolutely no clue and clearly just guessed which is why I assume people were so frustrated. |  |

From what I could see, the ref told the linesman to put his flag up. There was probably a conversation on the mic’.
The Ref saw that it was touched in on the line, maybe the linesman didn’t see the touch? |  | | |

It looked off side as I say just frustrating the flag didn’t go up immediately. Lino should have had a better view than the ref looking across the line. As it happens we deserved everything we got tonight. [Post edited 21 Oct 2025 23:04]

That's how I saw it, ref and linesman taking their time to confirm what felt the right decision from my view in the Cobbold - linesman sure about the offside positions, ref sure about the touch. The delay was infuriating in the moment mind and we should receive another fine for whoever threw that object at Mr Lino.
I was too far away from the third to see if the ball had run out of play but felt it did, don't know if replays show otherwise (and not that it would have made much difference!). | | | |

Watching online, ours was close but offside and rightly disallowed. Theirs however was ball out and should have been disallowed as well. But more worrying is our players just giving up and asking for stuff from the officials instead of playing until the game stops for whatever reason and then bashing the officials if they have to. |  |
