| Having watched the highlights 08:55 - Oct 22 with 658 views | BloomBlue | the goals were worse than I thought. 1st goal Charlton player picks the ball up just inside our half. He then runs basically the entire length of our half with 5 Town players playing traffic police officers waving him through without a single tackle. 2nd goal Charlton player taps it past Leif, and nobody tracks the runner. Ok bit of a lucky deflection but a completely unmarked/unchallenged player heads it in 3rd goal. Their corner goes across the pitch Leif loses the tackle but their are 5 Charlton players there, so 1 Town v 5 Charlton. Cajuste comes over to close down the attacker, but doesn't, so 5 v 2. That leaves 8 Town players (9 with GK) in our box v 5 Charlton players and there are 3 Charlton players standing there unmarked, wtf Unreal. The lack of passion and professionalism from that first goal onwards was astrocious | | | | |

In particular the first, O'Shea has to do better with the header and then he needs to go and commit. If the bloke does him, bring him down and take the yellow! Very poor decision making from our captain and it changed the whole outlook of the game (similar to Hirst's penalty at Boro)

You play to the whistle, especially in the Champ when there is no VAR. Simple things if a professional can't do they should not play for the team. The way O'Shea, Greaves etc backed off 30, 40 years every time a Charlton defender ran at them with the ball was simply pathetic, it was as if inviting them to take a shot on goal. Compare that to how the Charlton (and Boro) defenders stepped in to block once anyone got near their box

I think #7 has just lost out on that sportsmanship award that he hoped for. Lol. Anyone else remember when linos ran the full length of the pitch. I know refs like to run diagonals, but that would surely stop this.
