It’s all pre planned no one uses initiative or plays on instincts they just repeat the pattern over and over again.

The aim is to win, not play a game of strategy.

In the double promotion seasons we played a brand of Klopp Liverpool football with pace and intensity, you knew we would score. Now it’s like a poor Pep team just passing for the sake of it.

Feels like we could play for hours without much of a shot on target. Feel we might as well try something different and go 442 with 2 up front at least. But just like for like changes.

We basically wander slowly to the opposition box, lollipop a ball in and shout for handball. We do this whilst playing a ridiculous high line.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

I would be interested to see the stats on passing between promotion seasons and this season. Comparing numbers of forward passes played into space and in behind vs the number played into feet. Feels like we hardly have people running onto balls at pace. Anyway well done Clarke. He is at least coming good!
