The aim is to win, not play a game of strategy. In the double promotion seasons we played a brand of Klopp Liverpool football with pace and intensity, you knew we would score. Now it’s like a poor Pep team just passing for the sake of it.

I would be interested to see the stats on passing between promotion seasons and this season. Comparing numbers of forward passes played into space and in behind vs the number played into feet. Feels like we hardly have people running onto balls at pace. Anyway well done Clarke. He is at least coming good!
