Thinking about the pros and cons of Celtic 20:04 - Oct 28 with 848 viewsNutkins_Return

Whilst I think it could happen if still be surprised.

Look at our spending power Vs Celtic. They don't have the money to be going after top young talent like Egeli that we did. maybe 2-3 of their players at most get in our side when you look at their squad which makes it absolutely mad they play European football.

Their is the romance to it maybe for McKenna as he has an affiliation for them and it also offers the chance to win a title. But they are a bit of a car crash and right now it always , and unfairly, offers him the chance to be first manager for Celtic to lose the title to a team other than Rangers which is a bit embarrassing.

Win a title puts it on his CV so that really is the only thing going for that job. Really do think he would be mad though.

You get the media pressure of a big club and European experience, definitely a stepping stone to a bigger PL club

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

He might just fancy a change and see it as a sizeable opening with limited PL suitors and his stock lower that it was a while back. End of of the day, if he didn't get us up this year, the mood around the job he's doing would be quite different from outside and maybe even within the Ipswich bubble.

I still don't think it happens but it could, we have spent a lot here and haven't exactly set the world on fire a quarter into the season. Let's see, one to keep an eye on.
