He must clearly regret not taking the Brighton job when he had that chance , since then his stock has decreased a lot based on how poor we were in the Premier league and again how inconsistent we are in the championship despite having huge financial backing. Had he left for Brighton he would now be an established PL manager and in reality whoever we replaced him with couldn’t have don’t any worse than what he did. If he stays with us till the summer and doesn’t get us promoted or even in the top 6 then his stock will be at an all time low and the PL will be a distant memory for him , if he goes to Celtic now he will likely have success and in a few years could easily end up back in the PL having had the experience managing a big club. I’m on the fence with it , if he goes I would be fine with it as he would be leaving us at a low point but if he stays I’ll also be ok . If we don’t make top 6 we may well move him on in the summer anyway so it is a very big decision for him to make should he have the opportunity to make it . |  | | |  |

Hi sorry this argument is flawed , stop living in the past it’s here and now that it’s important , the facts are we have spent circa £150 M and have a weaker team than the last time we were in this league ! All of the key players from that success have been allowed to leave and we now have a group of individuals and not a team. There is of course the chance that McKenna turns this around and we finish the season strong which is why I wouldn’t be against him staying but if he were to leave I also wouldn’t be shedding any tears. |

Where have I said his a failure ? His tenure has to come to an end at some point , managers don’t stay at Clubs like they used to for years and years , he is highly likely to leave one way or another within the next 12 months, if we go up a bigger side might go for him and this time he would definitely take it , if we don’t go up we may move on , either way his tenure will end at some point in the not to distant future and I personally feel now wouldn’t be a bad time , he hasn’t got us performing to the required levels and I feel if another manager came in with the talent at our disposal which is crazy good for this level that they could do a good job ! If he goes I will remember his time with lots of fondness as has brought us some amazing times which we didn’t expect a few years ago ! |

I am not asking for him to leave , I have stated that he may well view this as the time and opportunity to leave for and if he does I would wish him well but wouldn’t be gutted like some would be . It’s November when we next play and we haven’t looked like a top 2 side nor a top 6 side at any stage this season , we have no identity and he doesn’t know what his best team is which is the second season where this has been the case .
If he doesn’t leave then I’m more than happy to give him until the end of this season he has earnt that time IMO |

The squad we had last time wasn't "crazy good for this level" by any stretch, hence those that have left are playing for lesser sides at this level or at the level below. Probably would have been cheaper , no I rented boxes and suites throughout the season and enjoyed a lot of hospitality , the results were sadly lacking but some of the experiences were great so not all bad | | | |

Sorry, it was the team you said was weaker. But player for player that simply isn't true either. We have way more quality in the side than we did in 2023/24. What we don't have is months and months of playing and winning together, it was that cohesion and togetherness that got us promoted.
