The only crisis at Carrow Road is when the Budweiser runs out in the boardroom 09:11 - Oct 30 with 708 viewspatrickswell

appears to be the thrust of Attanasio’s argument. There’s a tiny sliver of my conscience which sort of hopes Manning is able to reward that faith in him as Robson did with John Cobbold in 1971, although that was after 3 years of struggle instead of 12 games…..

….and then I remember that Marcus Evans tried to give Keane/Jewell/Lambert time to turn things around - and I equally hoped that they would reward that faith - only for us to continue listing into failure and decay.

What’s it gonna be, Budgies?

Blimey, they even have to copy the words from Town stalwarts, The Cobbolds, dont they.

Forever in our shadow.

It’s a perfect metaphor for the clubs though. Cobbold was worried about the wine, and it would have been good wine at that, maybe something like a classic Domaine Coche-Dury white Burgundy. They’re more like a Budweiser in the relative hierarchy of drinks; common, weak, cheap and tacky.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
