Yes, you can use MPC, however as it’s your first time, they're still going to take your photo and fingerprint you. The MPC line is almost certainly the shorter one though.
Edit - so, to clarify, that's why you'll see it says for returning esta travelers, coz you still need to be processed being a first time user. [Post edited 3 Nov 18:50]

Yep - used it when arriving at Orlando both this year and last. Well worth it this year as we came into terminal B this year and immigration before baggage - there was only 10
or so ahead of us, compared to the couple of hundred in the standard line. |  | | |

Yep - used it when arriving at Orlando both this year and last. Well worth it this year as we came into terminal B this year and immigration before baggage - there was only 10
or so ahead of us, compared to the couple of hundred in the standard line. |

So, do you reckon it's worth downloading the app and heading for the MPC line and just expect to get photographed / fingerprinted even though it's my first time?
I was concerned that if I did go there, they wouldn't let me in and then I'd have to go to the back of the immigration queue.
I guess when you touch down, you connect to the WIFI network/4G and submit through the app?
I'm flying to Washington Dulles with my 18 year old son

The MPC mobile app, is available to U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, Canadian B1/B2 citizen visitors and returning Visa Waiver Program travelers with approved ESTA | |

You can go to MPC line if it's your first time.
UK Citizens are also eligible for global entry if you are a frequent visitor.
MPC has nothing to do with whether you will get fingerprinted or not btw, it's just an advance customs declaration. |  |

Probably doesn’t help you now, but I flew out to Los Angeles via Dublin in September. Passed CBP in Dublin in 20 mins. Landed in LA and it was straight out the doors.
