Not a great watch. Not an awful one.
Both sides win the ball then both sides don't do much with it.
I found quite a bit of that half frustrating. Watford are organised but we are so slow.
With the 23/24 team you almost felt like a goal could be scored once we got past halfway. But in that half i couldn't say I felt like we were going to threaten them. Sure we'd get the ball into the final third but then we run out of ideas.
I think the fact a cb got an assist is whilst a plus point also a negative in that those sort of balls should be being played by our creative players who just aren't creating anything.
It's not a poor game. Not a bad one. Not a good one just a bit meh.
Also how quiet Is PR. Don't know if it's the audio on sky but its coming across so poor. |  |

On the streamed games (Sky+), it is very much audio related. Of course, that doesn't mean it's Anfield on a European night type of noise but it often sounds like the commentators are in some sound proof booth.
Watford's goal is exactly what I want to see more of from us and I'm sure we are more than capable of it too. Just still too much on the ponderous side for me but a decent half. A repeat of Saturday's second half will do nicely.
Egeli very good. A bit frustrated at times with his crosses but he will be some player.
Kipre settled down after a pretty poor opening where he gave the ball away three times in 5 mins.
Matusiwa, well. The man needs bubble wrapping. We cannot lose him for a second of action this season.
