Matusiwa always impresses me in every game, but what a fine performance from young Egeli tonight. He’s going to prove to be our saviour, and he’s still a youngster.

Poll: Are we happy with the takeover?

Yes he's improving with every game, a peach of a ball at QPR for Hirst to head home and another one last night that Azon simply has to score from, he did get a bit caught out for their goal but he's still learning that side of it. I think he is going to be a massive talent for us.

Agree, Matusiwa & Egeli impressie, along with Taylor and Davis when they have been in the side lately.

But you can't have 4 consistent performers and expect to be anywhere near the top end of the division.

As a group, miles away.

He'll be even better when his crosses beat the 1st man.

Put 1 or 2 lovely balls in but as a success rate I thought it quite low. Couple of occasions he cuts inside, fronts up a defender who is 1 yard in front of him and smashes the ball at his shins. He seems to do it so often.

Definitely a player in there, just needs to learn the art of making the right decisions at times. It'll come.

He whips in flat crosses that are very hard to defend against, so I can forgive him hitting the first man at times. Much better than floaty rubbish that CBs can see from a mile away.

He’s coming along nicely.

Side note on Matusiwa, at the end of the game he didn’t look happy, Cam Humphries was talking to him and then KM spoke to him and pointed at something. Do we know what this was about?

Probably the Philogene tiff in the 2nd half. JP went down because he was trying to buy a free kick (looked soft to me, but fair enough) then stayed down while Watford attacked. I would think Matusiwa said something like 'stay on your feet' or 'get back in faster' and Philogene took exception to it. JP was still visibly annoyed when he went off and AM was at full time.

Guess KM was telling him to zip it and keep it behind closed doors.

I only caught late second half so missed that. Cheers for clarifying MPH
