as you all know there was a 40 odd minute delay leaving and I kinda heard an announcement about compensation…didn’t pay much attention to the it but when I logged into my trainline account it said I was due compo…when I clicked on it it seems they are willing to refund me the FULL amount we paid for both our tickets..£124 !!

Only snag is you have to post off original paper tickets in order to get it….we’ve only got our return tickets so hopefully will at least get half the refund…🤞

I meant entitled at the point of time when lights were not on. The people sitting down originally would have also paid good money. There was definitely a aggressive coming together for a short while but admittedly it did calm down after that. It mainly only bothered me because I was with my 10 year old son otherwise it would not have so much.

On a brighter note just got 1 adult and 1 child return for Leicester at just £31 which seems very reasonable.

From Ipswich? Jammy sod you, checked on the prices a week back and 1 adult was £71 return.
