What’s the longest in days you have made a big old pot of stew last,bubbling away like a good un?

I think mine is three days.

You can’t beat it ladled over some mash or with dumplings.

I got incredible food poisoning from a friends few days old liver stew a few years back. He offered me some as popped into his house before the pub. Never even finished first beer before heading to the bathroom. Couldn't leave it for over an hour..

I’m in poor 2nd with my gallons of veg soup that went on for at least a month last winter then (safe if you bring them to the boil every day).
