That keeper choice remained controversial for some time before Hladky eventually held down the spot ahead of Walton. Each of the three have their strengths and weaknesses and Hladky was best for the football we played at that time. However, I think there is very little between the three of them.
Palmer/Hladky/Walton (to have all 3 would be useful)
Young (I don't actually understand why he isn't first choice now but McKenna clearly sees enough in Furlong to have him instead)
O'Shea (much as I love Woolf who can't get in the Coventry side)
Burgess (I don't get why McKenna never really favoured him)
Davis
Matusiwa (as good as Morsy was and there is very little between them currently, Matusiwa will play on longer and probably improve)
Difficult to call. Again, Luongo is no longer who he was. Taylor is now coming into his own. On skill alone it should be Cajuste. I would go Taylor though.
Close call again but Egeli will improve.
Chaplin but Nunez might prove to be better in the long term
Little between all of them but those with most potential are Philogene and Clarke
Hirst
So, the current ones are the ones who will most likely get better whereas the old ones are the ones now on a downhill slope (generally). |  |

The fence straddling is simple. There is nothing currently between what Taylor is doing and what Luongo did and there is no clear winner currently between Philogene and Jack Clarke (hence why neither is clearly starting ahead of the other all the time). Force me to choose and it is Philogene who is starting more regularly. | |
