Dara, 50th start this weekend. Fantastic qualities as a defender, commitment on pitch, really hard to get the better of him with challenges, duels, pace. Comes out on top even against top forwards. At 25, still learning and developing. Different sort of season, last two seasons with teams at the bottom of the league, fighting, having low possession, he's now playing in a ball dominant team. Different demand, different challenges, and that was part of the attraction this year. He's improving in those challenges. As a leader, he's been outstanding since he arrived, no difference whether captain or otherwise. Role model, also about other supplementing him in leadership. | | | |
