But big chunk of empty seats in lower middle?

What was this all about?

Crowd packed, and this collection of empty white seats.

Mates standing with mates elsewhere, or after first half performance …..still in the bar !

Nah, I was about 10 seats away, and was like that all game.

3 or 4 rows of like 10 empty seats in a row. Presume the staff seats not taken up.

That block was in front of the disabled area and was empty 10 minutes before kick off. Could be they don't sell them to avoid people who can't stand getting blocked. Suspect the few in there drifted there from elsewhere.

There were loads of spare seats towards the front all the way round.

You would think they would sell staff seats if not taken up.

I reckon there will be even more no-shows at Blackburn.

But it won't be noticeable because we won't sell out.

Bristol City was the same. I bought tickets in the first window and there were already greyed out seats at 10am. My seats were just in front of them.
When the game came around, the entire row behind me was empty.
It obviously didn’t deprive anyone of a ticket that night but once again it just highlights the fact attendance is built on success.
If we go up this season, people will moan about not getting a ticket in the Prem and yet they will have plenty of opportunities to gain points by attending away games this season.
