Who do we want/need. Realistic names only.
For me:
- I’d be going back in for Hackney. Offer him whatever he wants. Offer Boro 30m if we need to. It’ll cost us far more not going up.
- I’d be getting on the phone to Morsy sharpish while recalling Conor Chaplin. The lack of link between the midfield and striker is a huge issue. The pair of them would help with that. Get the old band back together.
- I’d be looking far and wide for a striker who is a natural finisher. Someone who just knows where to be at the right time. McAteer put one in across the six yards box first half today and not a single one of our lads even thought about running into that space let alone actually doing it. I’m not sure who specifically but there has to be someone. What about the ex-Boro striker who went to the MLS. He’d do the job. A natural finisher is what we need.

I appreciate they may hamper our general play but there's surely others you would target before them |
They’ve definitely produced some real flashes of brilliance, that is undeniable. But good players don’t play in flashes 5% of the time, that’s not a good player in my opinion, I carry much more weight on overall performances and team connections and cohesion.
There are also others I would say need to be moved on if possible, whether that be before them or after doesn’t matter to me.
They’re just part of the collection of players I’d be moving on, for the greater development of the squad building. |  | | |

Which is more than much of the team, I wouldn't be removing the few who are offering some actual goals?
I'm sure some of the fat will be trimmed, whether that's Humph, H. Clarke or Johnson etc
I wonder if there will be any surprise departures
