Why do we look so vulnerable when teams come at us? When we are on the attack, it seems as though it is almost impossible to break these teams down and yet when they come at us, we look like a nervous wreck.

The numbers suggest that it isn't that bad defensively but to the eye, it so often seems like things are 'last ditch'. Maybe it is the hangover of last season still.

I know people have mentioned January and the priorities being a 10, striker etc but for me, it should be adding leadership and experience to the squad. We seem so fragile at the moment which I suppose shouldn't be a suprise considering the players that we moved on in the summer.

Because we dont have the Morsy / Luongo partnership (or havent replaced it).

Poll: Would Lambert have acheived better results than Cook if given the same resources

Because we only have two in Central Midfield and our Left Back is often the furthest player up the pitch.

The opposition will practice the transition and balls needed to exploit this ahead of playing us. They have lots of videos to watch from last season and this to give them confidence that it will work. Our Central Defenders have lots of experience of seeing this play out in front of them last season and this, and so the "nervous wreck" look that you refer to is simply the recognition dawning on their faces of the same pattern being played out with the same inevitable results.

Again.

Next question.
