Not a great look, is it? A grown man using a playground offensive gesture. Regardless of his excuses, he should never have been anywhere near that kind of behaviour.

Edit: poorly worded original comment. I mean he shouldn't be anywhere near any gesture that might be interpreted that way, not saying he is lying, for clarity. He may well not have meant it that way, but getting that worked up that you have to gesticulate wildly at a match official leaves you open to scrutiny.

I was hoping he might have a point, but the gesture really doesn't look like he is trying to cover his eyes. No excuses.
