This happens in the matched betting world as well. It's nothing new. It's why the bookies now ask for ridiculous levels of verification. It's not uncommon for them to ask for passport or driving licence, utility bill, bank statement (not allowed to redact any info at all), photos of the front and back of the card you use to deposit and a selfie of you holding your ID up next to your face.
Bookies are closing winning accounts quicker than ever. Even if you bet on horse which go off at lower value they will restrict you. Geoff Banks restricted me recently because two horses on the same day went off much shorter than the price I backed them at. |  |
