Why are we so hopeless away from home? 17:02 - Dec 13 with 649 viewsDubtractor

Not just talking about results, but we look so laboured and lacking in ideas on the road.

2 shots on target today, and one of those was a gift from them.

So many things to pick out that were bad today, at least half the team had shockers, no creativity at all.

Similar to most away games this season. Yet we seem able to play some good stuff at home.

Unless we can sort our away performances out it's top 6 at best.

We looked sluggish from the first whistle and our ball retention was awful. Squad’s been rotated well so fitness shouldn’t be an issue. 20 games in and we still aren’t really clicking. We should have enough to finish top six but wouldn’t bet a lot of money on it.

Philogene is obviously levels at times in the champ, especially when he has his shooting boots on at Portman Road but in away games when we spring the trap it’s all fancy touches and turning inside. Omari would have defenders petrified with players arriving, that’s a lot of the difference, running at championship defenders and tempo. We lack if, just look how many of our shots get blocked from the edge of the box.

Jack Clark legit puts in one of the most frustrating performances I can remember.

At best you say!!
Even with Southampton losing I agree.

3 points today and I'll start to believe. by BanksterDebtSlave 13 Dec 9:34
Lose and Southampton win and I'll start to prepare for the play offs at best. Time for clicking/gelling is up, think today is huge in terms of squad confidence.

That shot first half straight at the keeper was bad enough. But a few mins before that we had a promising buildup on the right, he’s in the box and tries to pass to our overlapping player but overhits it straight out for a goal kick. Absolute basics and fundamentals.

Then near the end he dallies in the box when should have shot first time. Nice hairband, though, and look forward to him cupping his ears to the crowd.

We did look very reluctant to put a foot in and stood off first half. Shame as if we went after them they may have buckled as looked very edgy after we scored

The only Muff in Town.

That celebration is slightly annoying as well.

He’s scored some important goals for us this year to he fair but in games like today, god it makes you want to throw something at your TV.

He was our standout worst performer, in an overall poor team performance.

Philogene slows the game down at times, I think you need runners away from home

I'd have started with McAteer and Clarke today

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!
