It raises a good question for those who bet or just enjoy the occasional flutter, though.
Highest odds win you’ve ever had?
My father in law was a huge tennis fan and stuck a fiver on Goran Ivanicevic to win Wimbledon every year he played and was usually among the favourites.
When he finally did win it, he was nearing the end of his career and I think he only got in the draw as a wild card.
I recall pops inviting every family member he could get hold of out for a meal on the back of a tidy windfall.
Might have been 150/1, something like that?

As for the question below.. I once did a thread on here for a horse to win the big handicap chase at Doncaster. Really fancied it. Got 80s and 66s. Put up on here at the latter for half the forum who seemed to get on and it pissed in.

Years and years and years ago I posted a 1307/1 acca on here which won. I walked to PR that day and they didn't have any quick slips left so I didn't place it...
Last season or season before I posted a yellow cards bet after they changed the rules and really hyped up the change. A few people got on that at 150/1. After the Friday night game where there were lots of bookings and the commentators banged on about the rule change that looked great value. I remember sitting watching the widget on Bet 365 waiting for the last yellow card  |  |
