Up early on Christmas Day and looking for a cheap ski deal for the end of the hockey season (wife won't miss a game!) while waiting for the rest of the Lesta household to get up. Anyone skied at Sierra Nevada in Spain? Also, what's the youngest you've had your kids on a snowboard?

Started my girls snowboarding at 8 and 10 after they'd skied once. My friend got his son started age 4 and he rips! *Edited cos I just realised you're not actually away atm... Get it booked! Cheers fella, I've been dying to go since we had our little one. I might book, even if it means snowboarding on my own for a couple of days.

I’ve seen children on skis not much beyond walking age (I’m guessing locals) but 3-4 years old is meant to be about the minimum. Most kids (and adults) I saw learned to ski first (in the Americas). I’m not sure why, not least because by the time Boardriding became fashionable, I’d already learned to ski. Not much help - apols
