Feel like Wes has scored so many goals like that. Head over the ball, hit it low across the keeper in to the far post. Lovely finish after a great move. I also thought he looked sharp in the 2 mins we saw of him at Millwall.
He obviously still needs time to ramp up but that RW position has been far from locked down by Mcateer or Egeli. So a fully fit Wes Burns could be a major boost for us with those contributing when they need to.
But above all delighted for him. The player who defines the game changer era for me.
Taylor's interception in front of the 18 yard box was Matusiwa-esque, then Jack Clarke was brilliant with his driving run, a few tricky feints before dinking the ball to Núñez with the outside of his boot. Núñez could have been forgiven for trying a shot in the box, but no - he plays a beautifully weighted ball to Burns, who arrives majestically and perfectly late in the box and slots home a classy right-footed shot delicately onto the boot of the Coventry defender to guide it past the keeper.
Textbook Wes Burns finish that... How important could he be. on 00:33 - Dec 30 by Hugoagogo_Reborn
It was a brilliant team goal.

Jack Clarke turned Matt Grimes in to a beyblade for that goal. Lovely little shimmy.
